Outdoor Movie - Community Reached!
The outdoor movie, on Saturday, August 8, brought in members of our community. A family of five told us they came because they saw our signs!
Outdoor Band & BBQ - Succesful!
Although billed as "youth-oriented" the praise band, Divine Attraction, (www.divineattraction.org) was enjoyed by all! The sincerity of their worship was a beautiful thing to see. And what a delicious BBQ!
Outdoor Movie - Much Enjoyed
26 people gathered on the lawn behind the pastor's office to enjoy our first outdoor movie, Happy Feet. We saw a beautiful clear image on an 8-foot screen. The digital soundtrack was awesome. Many said: When is the next one!
Baptismal Service - Beautiful
Baptismal candidates Kristina Otto and Jason Maupin received the ordinance of baptism during the morning worship service on June 28. Congratulations...and Welcome!
Father's Day - Highlights
A special video presenting God's Love Letter was astounding! Thanks to Betty, Mary, and Beverly for presenting all of the answers to the Father's Day Questions....beautiful! Thanks to Cathleen and kids for providing beautiful carnations...and Maria for the God' Love Letter "parchments" given to our men.
Barbeque and Praise Night - Meaningful
A little morning rain did not dampen spirits for our first Praise Night., which was held on Saturday, June 20. A total of 30 people turned out to enjoy a wonderful praise band, fantastic bbq burgers, and great fellowship.

Pentecost - Worship Much Enjoyed
Our Pentecost Service was special! Thanks to all who provided the "Pentecost Decor"....and to those who re-created the Pentecost Miracle, as they spoke "the wonders of God", in unison, in Four Languages.

Family Week Service - Much Appreciated
Wonderful guests, old friends, a video of our church family, presentation of the Brown Scholarship, and a delicious luncheon made May 3 a special day. Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this a success!

Easter Week - Beautiful!
Thanks to all who worked so hard to make our Lenten and Easter services so wonderful. Whether behind the scenes, or in the spotlight, you made a real difference. Attendance was up. We prepared 45 Easter candles...but ran out!
Neighborhood Walk - Success!
Four teams of two's and three's went out into our neighborhood, following worship on Palm Sunday. Decorated candles were hung on doors, and good contacts were made. All were overwhelmingly positive about the experience of spreading Christ's Light in the neighborhood!

Keep Bringing Your Recyclables!
We raised over $1,000 last year for many worthy causes...just by recycling! Let's make 2009 even better. Bring your recyclables on Sunday morning...and Fred will make sure they are processed...with all monies going to the CWF charities fund.

Our Next Outdoor Movie
On Saturday, August 29, we will again enjoy a family movie under the stars. This time it's the Disney classic, The Fox and the Hound. See you at 7:30 PM!
Body & Soul Breakfast
Chef Ray, and all the crew, will be back in action on Sunday, September 6. Don't miss the great food, fun, and fellowship at 9 AM!
Memory-Loss Support Group
Our next Memory-Loss Support Group will meet on Wednesday, August 19, at 5:30 PM. If you are caring for a loved one in this life situation, come and join us in our Fellowship Hall for a time of mutual support.
